Green Alligator

We took Diego to Denny's for breakfast yesterday. We haven't been to Denny's in ages, so it was nice for a change. After Denny's we shot down the street to Barnes & Noble for me to make a dash in to get the 3rd book in the Twilight Series. Seriously, I'm reading too fast. I read the 1st book in 2 nights, the 2nd book in 3 days (while making an effort in reading more slowly), and now on this 3rd book I'm trying to prolong finishing it beyond a week. After the quickie stop at the bookstore we jetted down the street over to the bowling alley. Diego knows it as the Green Alligator, because of the sign. We headed in and changed a bill for some tokens. Diego's first stop was the race cars. He played with daddy, though he wasn't able to reach the peddals (obviously). Then he shifted over to the other race cars. I challenged him to a game of air hockey, and astonishingly he did so well! He has incredible hand-eye coordination. The puck gently and slowly drifted his way and he was able to whack it back to me with ease. After that, he swiftly made his way to the motorcycles and climbed on like a pro. He had to lean forward to grab hold of the handlebars, so he was barely sitting on the seat. It was so cute to see him leaning from one side to the other, controlling the motorcycle, and on the screen crashing into everything in sight. "No, no!!!" He would shout, if German tried to guide him. He is his own little person, wanting to be as independant as possible.
