“No one ever regarded the First of January with indifference. It is that from which all date their time, and count upon what is left. It is the nativity of our common Adam." ~ Charles Lamb
Each year I make new year's resolutions...yep, I'm one of those. They are simply goals set for that present year. Simple. There is no harm in examining the year past, and, looking on with hope and optimism, setting up a plan for the sake of a better year...and a better you.
SO! These are my goals for 2009:
- Grow closer to the One who saved me
- Exercise regularly
- Change my diet and get my family eating healthfully
- Manage my days better to allow myself more quality time with the people who matter most to me
- Have time to read and do the things that allow me to explore beyond the boundaries of my world
- Take better care of myself, (includes going to the doctor for regular checkups, going to the dentist, caring about what I look like when I leave the house etc.)
- Take my DEXA registry before June
- Buy my bike and my helmet; also attachment for Diego
- Work towards getting my scuba certification ~ $400 (prob in 2010)
- GET PREGNANT!!
