Halcyon Days

Today was one of those beautiful days that I wish I could just save, and go back to over and over again. The weather was cool and breezy; the sun warm and comforting. Fiery streaks of amber clouds were strewn across the blue heavens. So often I had dreamed of laying down on a bed of green grass, atop a hill, surrounded by a sea of happy yellow dandelions. I sink into the earth, hands folded behind my head, just staring up at the magnificent sky, and breathing in the freshness and amazingness of God's perfect creation.
