SAHM Playgroup

So, yesterday was the first time in a while that I was able to get together with my mommy group. I picked Diego up after school and journeyed up Riverside and made our way over to Liberty Park. It was so great getting together with everyone, I got a huge hug since it had been a while & it was just nice to sit and talk and laugh with the other moms. As a mom my focus is always on my child, so conversations are always short and light. Every 10 minutes or so I would venture over to the playground to make sure my booger was fine. Tonight the moms got together for MNO at Bonefish Grill, but I already had plans to hit up the bookstore with Kaysha so I skipped out on the MNO. Besides, I'm going to see all the moms again next week at another park. I love afternoon playdates! And in a couple of weeks we are doing another MNO but a really awesomely special one! One of the moms is a hairdresser (whose child & my Ee totally hit it off yesterday) and she is hosting an MNO night at her spa! They are going to open the doors after work hours just for us and we are going to have the place to ourselves! Half of us are bringing bottles of wine (oh, yeah, baby!!!) and the other half are bringing desserts & appetizers! I am scheduled for a relaxing mani/pedi with some mommies, while some of the others are getting massages and facials etc. I was thinking of making carrot cake cupcakes...but after having a decadent Red Velvet cupcake from B&N tonight I think I'm going to make that instead! I CAN'T WAIT for MNO Spa Night!
